Nikon F Flash Terminals (Part 20FB1-708)

Flash Terminal Type 1

The chrome flash terminal is flat with concentric circles and has no threads.

Recorded body numbers between 6400492 and 7359214.

Flash Terminal Type 2

The chrome flash terminal has internal threads to secure the sync cord (like F2 bodies, also called Apollo-look).

Recorded body numbers between 7350161 and 7450960. Earlier cameras which appear to be original have been found. Nikon F instruction booklet with print code (72.2.CO)&-26 shows body #7256811 with F2-cosmetics.
