Some early Nikkormat/Nikomat FS and FT bodies came with a narrow ribbing at the edge of the rewind knob.
Most of the Nikkormat/Nikomat FS and FT bodies came with an extended ribbing on the rewind knob.
On the very first FT bodies the maximum aperture scale has a range from 1.2 to 5.6. The red dot indicating the stop down index is at the same place as the 1.2 value.
Very soon the maximum aperture scale is changed to a range from 1.2 to 4.5 only. The red dot indicating the stop down index is on the left side of the 1.2 value.
The earlier Nikkormat/Nikomat FS and FT bodies came with a film pressure plate having a large structure.
On later Nikkormat/Nikomat FS and FT bodies the film pressure plate has a fine structure.
